Google has just rolled out a new tool called Google Correlate. The functionality of it is just reverse to Google Trends; you type in a query and get back a series of its frequency over time or in each US state. As we can understand from its name ‘Correlate’, it looks for correlations; whether the demand for a particular keyword matches the popularity of any keywords. The results from this tool may be random but can be useful for your SEO campaigns. One thing to notice here is that Google Correlate is still a Google labs project and US only, so we cannot take it for granted and can apply for our campaigns but can be considered if the next project is for US only. For more information please visit Google Labs.
