Shooting movies with a DSLR has made a giant leap forward. An entire season finale of House-popular TV series was shot using a Canon 5D Mark II. This is huge because House airs in 66 countries, using one of the biggest networks in the world, and has an audience of 81.8 million worldwide. I mean it when I say it’s popular. To those of you who are not familiar with the DSLR (Digital Single Lens Camera),it’s the middle playing field between the amateurs and the professional shooters. These cameras will definitely find its place in the future soon. The show’s director Greg Yaitanes opened himself up to discussion over Twitter about his experience shooting the show with a DSLR if you’re interested: http://www.petapixel.com/2010/04/09/house-season-finale-filmed-entirely-with-canon-5d-mark-ii/ Source: http://www.engadget.com/2010/04/13/canon-5d-mark-ii-used-to-shoot-entire-house-season-finale-direc/
